Born and raised in the Midwest, I’ve always felt at home outdoors. Growing up in the '70s, I spent most of my childhood outside — unsupervised, basically feral. Early on, technology moved slowly, but as I got older, personal computers started advancing fast, this led to an interest in computer tech which eventually led to a career spent mostly indoors. Photography came later, mostly as an excuse to get back outside and reconnect with the world beyond screens. It also happens to blend my love of technology with a lifelong creative streak. My background in drawing, airbrushing, and years in architectural visualization taught me to see detail and composition in everything — and that carries into how I shoot.
This site isn’t about me. It’s about the moments I’m able to capture — from nature to city life, the light, the shadows, the weather, the wildlife, — and sharing them in a way I hope others find visually worth the pause.
